ITS FORMATION
Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) has embarked on the Sainik School project by converting its School & Junior College at Rukmapur , Karimnagar into a Sainik School from the Academic Year 2018-19 primarily to nurture young talent from the marginalized sections to prepare them for a career in the Indian Armed Forces. It is first such exclusive school to be run by a state Government with its own resources.
OUR MISSION
JOIN THE OFFICER CADRE OF INDIAN ARMED FORCES
The mission of this School is to encourage students to dream of alternate career other than Engineering & Medicine and prepare them to gain entry into the Army, Navy and Air Force through open competition based on the test conducted by UPSC every six months. Such an attempt is expected to transform selected schools as missionaries in the form of preparing schools to mould the students academically, physically and emotionally to enter the portals of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla (Pune). This will enable them to don the Military Uniform and be soldier in arms for the Nation.
In pursuance of this mission, the Sainik Schools project has been taken up with the following objectives:-
To offer an ideal platform for the students of marginalized sections for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
To develop the young students academically, physically, and mentally and mould their character through focused training so as to become useful citizens of the Nation.
To offer opportunities to the students to opt for alternate career by putting them through regulated and dynamic regime, thus raising their esteem levels.
VISION STATEMENT
To upgrade selected schools of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) as Sainik Schools by offering specialized curriculum to children of marginalized sections by introducing military subjects so as to enable them to be part of the national and international agenda of being ‘Defenders of Dignity’.
SCHOOL FLAG
Unifying Force
Flag is the pride of any entity, be it the comity of nations, a nation or an institution. It brings honour and prestige and is respected with all dignity due to it. The School Flag depicts the three colours viz, Red, Deep Blue and Sky Blue symbolizing the defence services of our Nation, i.e. Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force respectively. Our elegant logo which also is a perfect combination of our society ethos and the defence services dons its rightful place in the flag to continuously remind us of the great challenge that await us in our lives, now and in future.
SCHOOL CREST (LOGO)
The Crest of our school is a modified version of our Society Logo and has three distinct colours, Red depicting Indian Army, Blue for Indian Navy and Light Blue for Indian Air Force. It has the Kakatiya Arch that is an adoption from the State emblem of our Telangana. The SWAERO image of ‘Anti Gravity and Above Infinity’ is appropriately placed in the crest to remind us of our lineage. The Ten stars depict our Ten Commandments. Two swords, the anchor and two jets are symbols of our Army, Navy and Air Force.
